HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America announced the addition to its dealer network of Johnson Tractor, Janesville, Wis.

Johnson Tractor will sell and service the full line of Hyundai construction equipment to customers in west-central Wisconsin, including the La Crosse and Eau Claire areas. Johnson Tractor operates a branch office in La Crosse, from which it will offer Hyundai sales and service.

"Adding Hyundai construction equipment gives us and our customers a great local option for the wheel loaders and excavators that we previously did not offer," said Patrick Johnson, wholegoods manager, Johnson Tractor. "West-central Wisconsin is experiencing strong growth in construction, agriculture and municipal infrastructure and Johnson Tractor is well positioned to meet the needs of this expanding market."

Johnson Tractor grew out of Clinton Implement, an agricultural equipment dealership in Clinton, Wis. The company changed its name to Johnson Tractor when Ray Johnson and his son, Leo, acquired the dealership. The company moved its headquarters to Janesville in 1986 and grew steadily over the years in Illinois and Wisconsin. Today, Johnson Tractor is led by CEO Eric Reuterskiold and many members of the Johnson family continue to work for the dealership.

"Hyundai is pleased to add Johnson Tractor to our North American dealer roster," said Ed Harseim, north central district manager, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America. "In addition to its longstanding success as an ag equipment dealership, Johnson also is a trusted business partner among construction contractors and local government equipment users."
