John Deere Expands Compact Track Loader Line With CT315 →

From Construction Equipment Guide... John Deere has added the small frame CT315 to its compact track loader line, a 45-hp (33 kw) unit that already meets interim Tier IV emissions standards. The CT315 becomes Deere’s first radial lift compact track loader, as well as its smallest, with a 12.6 in. (32 cm) wide track and a narrow overall machine width of just over 60 in. There is a bridge on Route 1 in Mendocino County that travels over a wide river. It is beautiful, scenic and peaceful — but it is also dangerous, as it is susceptible to collapse during an earthquake. In fall 2010, it will be gone. Produced at the New Holland Construction plant in Wichita, Kan., the New Holland L175 skid steer loader features a New Holland turbocharged engine rated at 60 gross hp (44.7 kW), and has a 2,000-lb. (907 kg) SAE-rated operating capacity, a bucket breakout force of 4,300 lbs. (1,950 kg) and an operating weight of 6,230 lbs. Ecoflex is an eco-friendly tire fill formulation from Arnco that consumes 50 percent less petrochemicals by using renewable and environmentally based components in the production process.
