Widening of I-405 HOV to Connect Long Beach, LAX →

When completed the route will be a four-lane divided highway anticipated to ease congestion along Highway 167. The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) let the first contract for the job in April of 2008 to T.J. Komatsu’s SK1020-5 Skid Steer Has Longer Wheel Base →

From Construction Equipment Guide... The Komatsu SK1020-5 skid steer loader has one of the longest wheel bases in its class, 45.7 in. (116 cm), giving the operator a more stable ride and a better platform for operating high flow attachments. The machine’s hydraulic self leveling (up only) bucket with 5,038 lb. (2,290 kg) breakout force enhances operator productivity on the job site.
