Gehl Approves Arnco’s New Ecoflex for Skid Steers, Telehandlers →
From Construction Equipment Guide... Gehl Company has approved Arnco’s new ecoflex tire flatproofing fill for use on all Gehl and Mustang skid steer loaders and telehandlers. Ecoflex is an eco-friendly tire fill formulation from Arnco that consumes 50 percent less petrochemicals by using renewable and environmentally based components in the production process. The announcement was made by Arnco Marketing Manager Steven Ownby, who said Gehl has “determined that new ecoflex polyurethane flatproofing meets the design and performance criteria set forth by Gehl” after the material underwent an extensive and exhaustive testing period, which proved it to be as effective in performance as any existing fill. Ltd and TCM Corporation announced that the three companies have reached an agreement to form an alliance focused on their wheel loader business. The new corporation will consist of Kawasaki’s wheel loader operation, of which Hitachi will obtain a 34 percent stake through purchasing newly issued shares. BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) Officials say as many as 100 jobs could be added by spring as New Holland Construction begins producing tractor loaders this year at Case Construction in Burlington. New Holland’s backhoes for the North American market had been made at an Imola, Italy, plant. In essence, it’s a sand dune, perhaps 1.5 mi. (2.4 km) wide and about 20 to 30 ft. (6 to 9 m) deep. Because of its compactible nature, sand from the Suffolk Scarp makes excellent fill material for contractors in the region.
