Burris Clears Damaged Va. Strip Mall →

According to the National Weather Service, the tornado that hit Suffolk, Va., April 28 had estimated winds of 160 mph. Amazingly, over the tornado’s 10-mi. (16 km) path through the city, there were no fatalities. Reports say approximately 200 injuries occurred in the state of Virginia that day because of the numerous tornados that hit. The storm left behind more than $28.6 million in damages in Suffolk alone.  Click for more...
