Bobcat Delivers New Product to Farm-Rite in Minnesota

Bobcat representatives delivered the company’s new CT230 compact tractor Oct. 29 to Farm-Rite Equipment in Dassel, Minn. Although Bobcat has announced that the new compact tractor line officially will be unveiled in Las Vegas in January, Farm-Rite Equipment received a tractor early and was the first to sell the CT230 model. The purchaser was Towmaster’s Arlyn Hedtke of Litchfield, Minn. He said he planned to use his CT230 on his farm and was excited about his new powerful and versatile tractor.

Hedtke also picked up a few attachments for it including a loader, box scraper, tiller, blade and two bottom plow.

To mark the special occasion, Farm-Rite and Bobcat gave Hedtke a custom Pewter limited edition replica of the CT230 for being the first customer.

Bobcat’s official launch for CT230 is at a media event being held Jan. 21 and 22 in Las Vegas. Nine models as well as a front-end loader and three-point hitch implements will be available by mid-2008 at select Bobcat dealers.
