Erikson’s most recent skid steer loader purchase was a K-Series S185 from Atlas Bobcat. From Construction Equipment Guide... Chattahoochee Technical College has a new machine to help prepare its students for a career in environmental horticulture. Instructor Bejie Herrin has added a Caterpillar 257B multi-terrain loader to the one-year-old program’s fleet, purchased from Yancey Bros. Co. Approximately 20 students are currently enrolled in the program at the Paulding County campus. While some have had experience working with this type of heavy equipment in the past and are taking classes to obtain certification, there are a few who had never been in the cab of a machine of this size before.  Click for more...

When it came time to replace his old Bobcat skid steer, he purchased a 56-hp (41.8 kW) turbocharged Bobcat S185 skid steer loader with a 1,850-lb. (839 kg) rated operating capacity. Kenneth Harder founded Harder Services in 1922. He began his work after leaving the Navy at the end of World War I. He joined a Danish import-export business that handled rat poison.
