Kubota Awards $100,000 “Hometown Proud” Grant to Wayne County, Tenn. →

Kubota Tractor Corporation announced Wayne County Ag Center, in Collinwood, Tenn., as the winner of the Kubota "Hometown Proud" community revitalization grant program. Wayne County will receive a $100,000 grant and loaned equipment from Kubota to help develop the grounds for the county's first and only dedicated Agricultural Center (Ag Center). May 2021 U.S. Farm Tractor Sales Show Small Blip →

A slowdown in the sales of sub-40 hp units pulls total U.S. total farm tractor sales negative, while all other segments and Canada continue strong growth according to the latest data from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). CNH Industrial reported first quarter consolidated revenues of $7.5 billion (up 37 percent compared to the first quarter of 2020), net income of $425 million and adjusted EBIT of Industrial Activities of $545 million (up $693 million), with strong performance from all segments year-over-year. Ward McConnell, Longtime Farm Equipment Veteran, Passes Away →

J. Ward McConnell Jr., a longtime veteran of the farm equipment industry, passed away on May 31, 2021. Mr. McConnell was born on July 30, 1931, on the family dairy farm in Prattsburgh, N.Y. Upon leaving the Army in 1956, he returned to Prattsburgh and opened a used car lot. The next-generation Doosan DL380-7 replaces the DL350-5 in the company's wheel loader lineup. The standard bucket of the DL380-7 has 7 percent greater capacity than the DL350-5.
